The Challenge

When Jacky approached GSinfoways, he was in a need of a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to build up brand awareness, drive high quality site traffic and increase conversions. Working closely with Jacky, we were able to execute a multi-channel strategy targeting users interested about Hong Kong and immediately engage them with relevant content.

The Strategy

After doing a thorough analysis of This Is Asia Tours, we found that many of Jacky’s website traffic were single page visitors. They didn’t bother to look even at the 2nd page right after landing. The only saving grace was his Certificates of Excellence for 3 years straight (2014, 2015 & 2016) which gave visitor some confidence to turn into his customers. At that time, his website’s bounce rate was around 72% which was on a little higher side.

We suggested a rebranding of This Is Asia Tours with an UI & website redesign to which Jacky happily obliged. From wire-framing to design, our designers made sure the website looks lively, engaging and adhere to best coding practices. During the design process, our developers collaborated with SEO team closely to follow best SEO practices. The collaboration literally saved us & Jacky precious time working on SEO separately. As a result, the website was full SEO ready with Schema Microdata Markups & Google Rich Cards during the time of launch.

To further bolster our SEO efforts and build brand loyalty, we focused heavily on various social & content channels such as Tumblr, StumbleUpon etc. We closely worked with Travel Bloggers for brand outreach. The paid search & display channel also presented great opportunity as well, and to ensure the best return we focused on presenting the best customer experience from end to begin.

We designed graphics for business cards, letter heads & souvenirs that converted into referral business opportunities. We made sure every customer experience of This Is Asia Tours was converted into word-of-mouth marketing that further helped the brand with more conversions.

The Result

In the first month of revising the strategy alone, we saw a 11% increase in conversion rate that resulted in a 26% increase in transactions and a 38% increase in revenue. The organic search results generated a 217% ROI on their organic search and outreach services while the total ROI from all channels combined was 385%.
